I'm Dave (most of my friends call me "PO"—a nickname that eventually inspired the name POGraphics).

My career has always centered around solving problems through creativity and technology. It began in graphic design, where I spent more than a decade designing everything from licensed sports merchandise and promotional products to websites and digital experiences. Along the way I discovered that I enjoyed building things just as much as designing them, which led me into web development, databases, and eventually marketing automation.

For the past 13 years, I've focused on Marketing Operations and Marketing Automation, helping B2B technology companies build scalable marketing programs using platforms like Adobe Marketo Engage and Salesforce. I've managed enterprise marketing automation, supported a global database of more than 900,000 records, built lifecycle campaigns, improved lead management processes, integrated marketing technologies, developed reporting, and partnered closely with Marketing, Sales, and Enterprise Systems to turn complex ideas into reliable, repeatable workflows.

What I enjoy most is sitting at the intersection of marketing and technology, finding ways to make systems work better, campaigns run smoother, data more meaningful, and marketers' lives a little easier.

Outside of work, I'm married to an incredible school teacher, proud dad, lifelong San Francisco Giants fan, and someone who enjoys camping, fishing, travel, and just about anything that gets me outdoors. I still appreciate great design, still enjoy learning new technology, and still believe the best solutions are usually the simplest ones.
