These babies are our neighbors from the south. These Peruvian GIANTS come from the mountain regions of Central America. You think they're large out of the bag, wait till you submerge them in water, they actually find a way to grow even more.

These beans have an extremely high fiber content and are rated very high in nutritional values.

These are great as a side dish. Perfect in stocks and soups. You can put them in a salad or come up with your own recipe.

Yellow Indian Women are a midsize bean that is creamy and rich tasting and is a good bean that absorbs other flavors when cooking.

When you think of Montana and it's Native American history, you have to think beans. Yellow Indian Woman or "Buckskin" beans were actually Swedish imports. They are a rare heirloom bean that is now found in Native American communities in Montana.

Like Pinto Beans, Yellow Indian Woman are creamy and firm, holding their shape for such slow cooked dishes as chilies and soups.

Snowcap beans are full-bodied bean variety that is wonderful in soups, chili or stews. All of these Heirloom Beans are handpicked and are not hybridized for industrial production giving them more flavor than the usual beans.

They could not have not come up with a better name for these Heirlooms. The color alone is truly unique, just like snow covered mountains. Snow Cap bean are large kidney-shaped beans with a mottled beige and maroon on one side and white on the other.

Snowcaps hold up during cooking, so it makes for use in view foods, like salad, and clearer soups and stews. White Caps are lean, starchy and grassy; once cooked they develop a smooth, meaty flavor and dense, creamy texture.
